704 Attendance and Punctuality

To maintain a safe and productive work environment, FreedomPark expects employees to be reliable and to be punctual in reporting for scheduled work. Absenteeism and tardiness place a burden on other employees and on the ability of FreedomPark to service the needs of our customers.

Valets should always plan to report to work 5 minutes before their scheduled start time, and should be ready to go to the curb as soon as you arrive at the office.

In the rare instances when employees cannot avoid being late to work or are unable to work as scheduled, they should notify the operations manager (or the dispatcher if the operations manager is not available) as soon as possible in advance of the anticipated tardiness or absence.

Excessive tardiness is disruptive to the FreedomPark operation, which depends on the timeliness of the valets in order to be timely for the customers. Excessive tardiness may lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

If an emergency arises and an employee will not be able to fill a scheduled shift, you must first attempt to contact a FreedomPark manager. It is not sufficient to report your inavailability to the dispatcher or the first person that answers the company phone. If you don't have a contact phone number for a manager, call the office and ask for it.
